For this reason, together with <strong>VASS Foundation<\/strong>, <strong>Down Spain<\/strong> and the technology partner <strong>DEUSENS<\/strong>we are involved in the development of <em>Step Forward<\/em>a software application for the <strong>virtual reality<\/strong> designed to improve the <strong>labour inclusion<\/strong> of people with <strong>Down's syndrome<\/strong> and others <strong>intellectual disabilities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Virtual reality as an ally of autonomy<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Immersive technology opens up new possibilities for training. By means of virtual reality glasses, users can <strong>simulate public transport journeys<\/strong>The programme is designed to help children learn to manage daily routines and cope with everyday situations in a safe and adapted environment. This type of <strong>practical and experiential training<\/strong> improves decision-making, strengthens personal autonomy and, above all, <strong>generates confidence<\/strong>a fundamental step towards the <strong>employability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Real inclusion through educational technology<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>At VASS University we are committed to a learning model that is accessible and useful for everyone. <em>Step Forward<\/em> is a clear example of how the <strong>educational innovation<\/strong> can be at the service of people. The app has been developed in collaboration with professionals in <strong>social inclusion<\/strong> y <strong>adapted learning<\/strong>This ensures an effective, respectful and transformative learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A project with purpose<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative is in line with our mission to promote a more sustainable <strong>inclusive training ecosystem<\/strong>The aim is not only to boost digital talent, but also to promote values such as fairness, diversity and accessibility. <em>Step Forward<\/em> is not just a technological tool, but a proposal that unites education, innovation and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Murcia, 8 July 2025 - At VASS University we understand education as a tool for social transformation.
